Here is the Trick to quickly multiply any number by 125.

➤ Add three zeros at the end of the given number which we are going to multiply by 125. 

➤ Divide by 8 to the obtained result. 

Logic- 

125 can be written as 1000/8 (1000 by 8), hence first we put three zeros at the end of the given number and then divide it by 8.

For Ex. - 56 × 125

Step 1 :- We will add two zeros at the end which results 56000.

Step 2 :- Then we will divide it by 8 (i.e. 56000/8 = 7000).

Final Result :- 7000.
